The Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) will start off with a powerpoint and theory discussion, followed by handling of the firearms. The firearms for the course are all non-firing using dummy rounds in each firearm.
The CFSC is an 8 hour course, excluding test time. The CFSC course will typically run on Saturdays from 8am to 5pm, then testing will begin.
Our set of training firearms for both the non-restricted and the restricted are very new and modern. No clunkers. By the end of the day, you will be surprised at how much you will learn!
Testing For Each Course
There are 2 tests, one written and one practical. You must attain 80% in each to pass. We will also hand-out the application you will need to apply for your firearms licence, at this point you will have all the forms you need.

Please bring government photo ID to the course. A drivers licence or passport is your best option, if you have a different form of ID please contact us before you begin your course. There are places to eat nearby, or pack your own lunch.
The CFSC age must be 12 years old. Ages 12-17 can take the CFSC course and apply for a minors permit. There will be a form that will need to be signed by a parent or guardian prior to the course. The CFSC is a Firearms 101 beginner course, and there is no experience required! Do not be nervous, the classroom lessons will be from the ground up, and taught in a friendly atmosphere conducive to fun and learning!
