Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC) will start off with a powerpoint and theory discussion, followed by handling of the firearms. The firearms for the course are all non-firing using dummy rounds in each firearm.
The CRFSC is typically run on Sundays starting at 8AM and is a 6 hour course, but can be as short as 4 hours if everyone in the CRFSC class has taken their CFSC course within the last 30 days.
Our set of training firearms for both the non-restricted and the restricted are very new and modern. By the end of the day, you will be surprised at how much you will learn!
Testing For Each Course
There are 2 tests, one written and one practical. You must attain 80% in each to pass. We will also hand-out the application you will need to apply for your firearms licence, at this point you will have all the forms you need.
Please bring government photo ID to the course. A drivers licence or passport is your best option, if you have a different form of ID please contact us before you begin your course. There are places to eat nearby, or pack your own lunch.
CRFSC people must be a minimum of 18 years old, and must have completed the CFSC course, as it is a pre-requisite. If you are coming for just the CRFSC, I will require your PAL # or CFSC course proof prior to the course, unless you have taken the CFSC with AntlerPoint.
